Jökulsárlón, a glacier lagoon in Iceland. The foreground consists of dozens of icebergs varying in sizes from that of a car to as small as a deck of cards. Far off in the distance the glacier where all of this ice has broke free from can be seen. Every shade of blue from the lightest to the darkest can be found in the ice, and sky. One can almost imagine the sounds of the crashing and melting.

A delicate newborn baby's hand peaks out of a white sleeve. Her tiny thumb is crooked and her fingers wrap around the index finger of the chubby little hand of her brother reaching across the photo. His hand is open, palm down, resting on the dimpled surface of a soft pillow.

This is a photo of my two year old son watching through the window, a magnificent thunderstorm. His hands and face are pressed to the window, watching the flashes of lightning, his smile and delight, shining through the rain drops on the window.

The photo shows a baseball sitting in the leaves. Hidden to those around but hoping the white of the ball will catch my brother's eyes as he moves around the backyard. Longing to be seen and surronded once again by his leather glove. The ball has been there a while as my brother had not playd in a long time. Still it sits there hoping to be discovered!! With the snap of this photo - it was!

This photo shows two rival girls soccer teams. They are about 12/13. One red. One yellow. The red team is smiling - they just won but the yellow team has tears behind their smiles as they lost. BUT the picture also shows several boxes of items they all gathered for the drive and a look for knowing that the game was only one of the two important things they did that day! Everyone won that day!

Whales in the ocean, woodpeckers in the trees, the greenest most, so green it does not look real, rabbits jumping out to cross your path and untamed waters as they roll along the banks.

Twin sisters sharing a secret by the dock. A shared bond only twins would understand.

Being able to stand and feel the sea breeze blowing on my face with the warmth of the summersun, i could visualize the windmills hovering over the everygreens. With every step closer to each windmill, the vibrations through my body get stronger and stronger. To me the sound was as beautiful as chimes ona breezy day.

This photo was taken 45 years ago and is a black and white picture. It is of my mom Kristine holding her newborn baby girl in her lap. With her one hand she is holding my hand and with her other hand she is cradling my head. My mom is looking directly into the camera and has lovely "cat eye" glasses on and has a loving, peaceful smile. Baby Kari is looking up at her and knows her Mom loves her.
